Agent Cooper Heading to the UK.

Well, “half” of Agent Cooper that is…. Doug and Sean will be heading out in about a week to spend the Holiday’s in England. The boys hope to squeeze in a few acoustic sets, visit Claire House to meet some of the faces involved with the Christmas Charity, and really just enjoy this festive time of year with friends and family. Brother in law to Sean,  Nik Ewen, and long time Stuck Mojo fan, Peet Walsh have opened a brand new restaurant on the Wirral (West Kirby) named CURIO. It’s been deemed “5 Star” by it’s reviewers, and I have it on good authority that the Cooper Boys will be sampling all 100+ craft ales. (Or as much as possible!) I personally look forward to seeing those photo’s. If you’re on the Wirral for Christmas, stop by!

Holiday Charity Single!!

We recorded the beloved classic, “Walking In The Air” to benefit Claire House Children’s Hospice who provide care to critically ill kids and their families in the UK. Wirral native Daniel Craig of 007 fame explains about Claire House, located in his hometown, at the beginning of the video. Please like/share/comment and help us get the word out! Happy Holidays! #acwalkingintheair

Claire House is a children’s Hospice located in England on the Wirral, they look after families from across Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales, West Lancashire and the Isle of Man and provide a home-from-home environment for children and young people, helping enrich their lives so they can live them to the fullest.

The Snowman was adapted as a 26-minute animated film by Dianne Jackson for the fledgling British public-service Channel 4. It was first telecast on 26 December 1982 and was an immediate success. It was nominated for the 1982 Academy Award for Animated Short Film.

The film story is told through pictures, action and music, scored by Howard Blake. It is wordless like the book, except for the song “Walking in the Air”. In addition to the orchestral score, performed in the film by the Sinfonia of London, Blake composed the music and lyrics of the song, performed by a St Paul’s Cathedral choirboy Peter Auty.
The film ranks 71 on the 100 Greatest British Television Programmes, a year 2000 list drawn up by the British Film Institute, based on a vote by industry professionals. It was voted number 4 in UKTV Gold’s Greatest TV Christmas Moments.

And we’re back!

So, quite a few things have been cooking this year in Agent Cooper world. We’ve just completed a rebuild of the website, as you can see it’s still a little sparse. Hopefully the WordPress-based format will encourage the ramblings of the southern prog shamans in Agent Cooper.

Notable news:

Ganesh is a published author and copy editor for Drumhead Magazine. You can visit them online here.

Delson has cut his hair. New pics ASAP.

Doug has new material in the works.

Eric has big news that we might not be able to announce yet. (more soon.)

Agent Cooper will be playing at Dixie Tavern in Marietta, GA on March 22, 2013. Details coming soon, but the show is locked. Stay tuned for more dates soon.

If you notice any errors or broken links in the website, or you have some suggestions, email me at, or

In Agent Cooper world:

Eric has very nearly completed the musical he’s been writing for Dad’s Garage, a fantastic theatre company in Atlanta. Look for show dates to be posted soon!

Mike has signed with the Lowry Agency in Nashville as a solo artist, and recently opened for the Aristocrats featuring Guthrie Govan and Marco Minneman. Stayed tuned for more news from Mike!

Sean, Doug, Mike and Ganesh recently convened to begin fleshing out our new material. No zombies were harmed. Pre-production rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for later this month, so stay tuned for new tunes!

Many other exciting things are cooking, but for now we have to keep it mum. Expect some big announcements in the coming months!
